"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live,even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26(ESV) Anyone reading the preceding I hope the answer is Yes!! This Biblical passage covers the past, present & future.(Revelations) JESUS is telling mankind, the way into Heaven is thru him. "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well."John 14:6-7 Anyone looking to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, will need to believe in JESUS thus being saved. Going to Heaven requires no work on your part. All that is required is a confession of the mouth and a belief within your heart, that's it. If you have not accepted CHRIST, just be obedient to the following passge and everything else is Heavenly. If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. 10 We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we declare with our mouths that we believe, and so we are saved. Romans 10:9-10. It's self explanatory, and if you have declared/confessed, believed/accepted WELCOME TO THE BODY OF CHRIST !!! The preceding can be summed up in 3 simple letters..
the ABC's of Salvation.
A: Accept JESUS CHRIST as your personal Lord and Savior
B: Believe that GOD raised him the dead, for the fogiveness of ALL sin.
C: Confess with your mouth before mankind that you believe.
If anyone tells you anything different remember this passage and verse from Romans 3:4(NIV) Let God be true and every man a liar. As it is written:
Being raised in the church, I was often taught contrary to what was written in the word. I am not encouraging anyone to sin (non-believers) or be unfaithful (believers). I just want to eliminate the anxiety associated with salvation. Notice I specified salvation and not the Christian Walk! I spent most of my life worring about my salvation due to transgressions, when neither was an issue wtih GOD thru JESUS CHRIST !
